Covid-19 Measures

The well-being and safety of our guests and our team are of the utmost importance. As we continue to navigate this new territory, our commitment to providing a safe, comfortable and memorable experience remains unchanged.

We will continue to monitor the evolving situation, taking guidance from the Alberta Government and Public Health Agency of Canada, we will update our practices as new details and recommendations emerge.

To protect the safety of our guests and staff, we ask you to refrain from dining with us if you are feeling unwell, showing any symptoms of COVID-19, or if you have potentially been exposed to the virus.

Our team have all received an asymptomatic COVID-19 test prior to opening. Our staff will all wear face masks and practice frequent handwashing. Staff members who are sick or displaying symptoms have been asked to refrain from coming to work, and are not permitted to return to work until fully recovered.

We have removed 20 seats from our restaurant to allow a better experience for all guests joining. All tables have been positioned to be at least 6 ft apart throughout the dining room. We do not allow more than 6 individuals at a table from the same household or cohort. We ask that you do not move your tables and chairs from their location. Social distancing signage displayed throughout the restaurant..
We had added additional sanitizers throughout the restaurant and guest bathrooms. We ask that you sanitize your hands when entering the restaurant.

Each table and chairs will be sanitized and disinfected before you are seated. We will be bringing sanitizer cloths to each guest upon being seated.

Common touch surfaces such doors, handles, service trays, ordering devices, etc will be cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis
Our menu will be accessible by visiting our website thebutternuttree.ca. Paper menus will be available upon request and will be discarded after use.

Payment terminals will be sanitized and disinfected after each use.

Nothing is brought to the table until each person is seated. Our tables are left empty until seated to ensure no cross contamination.
